So you've always wanted to visit The Highlands of Scotland...

Inverness is the Capitol of The Highlands! You will most likely be flying into Inverness airport and you may want to spend your first day exploring the city before you head to Fort Augustus. You will definitely want to stock up on supplies at a Lidl, Aldi or Morrison's before heading to The Abbey!

If you fly into Edinburgh or Glasgow, you will head past Fort William on your way North into the Highlands to Fort Augustus. Fort William is the second largest city in The Highlands and is another great place to stock up before heading to The Abbey! Don't miss the High St. Museum!

Glencoe might be the most majestic town in Scotland.  It's certainly the most inspiring scenery close to The Abbey. Movie producers think so too! You may recognize Glencoe from James Bond to Harry Potter! Hagrid's hut was here!

The Clachaig is one of our favorite haunts in all of Scotland. There is a small inn nestled in the glen, and two wonderful pubs. The pubs are often chock full of climbers, particularly in the winter, testing out their skills as they train for Everest.
